This popular pneumatic belt uses inflatable air
chambers to provide cushioned support to a wide area of the lower back.
When air is pumped into the belt, a network of inflatable chambers
exerts pressure on the paraspinal muscles of the lower back. The
constant pressure of these air chambers stretches and relaxes back
muscles to reduce spasms so muscles can assume their natural resting
length and be less prone to injury. Air pressure is adjustable by means
of a detachable air pump. The horizontal and vertical means of a
